Strut Preparation

Strut preparation is as simple as buying the lumber or tubing required and cutting to the lengths identified in the assembly instructions, based on the size NATURAL FREQUENCY dome you are going to build.

NATURAL FREQUENCY recommends using Southern Pine struts for the most durable dome.

All cuts are square (90 degree) and no special angled measurements or cuts are required.

Its recommended that once you cut your struts you label them to match the assembly instructions so they do not get mixed up.

One method is to apply spray paint that corresponds to the assembly instructions to the ends of the struts. They can all be stacked up and quickly marked on both ends
