The image shows how the square cut (90degree) strut can be inserted into the hub socket. By butting the strut up to the hub, not only is the correct angle produced, but the strut is captured on all sides creating additional strength and ease of assembly. Square cuts (90 Degrees) on the end of each strut takes all the guess work out of our dome assembly saving you time and keeping you from wasting lumber when you cut the wrong angle on a board or pipe.
Fasten the strut to the hub simply by driving in screws at the pre-drilled locations
A Geodesic Dome can be easily and quickly assembled by combining the Basic kit hub with the struts. Then for additional strength an HD kit adds the inner hub to capture the end of the strut completely preventing motion in any direction
